About Choo-Choo Bear:

Choo-Choo Bear is a twenty-five year old kitty with a rare "bone disease that makes him extra-huggable." Chemotherapy has made him lose all his hair, and he is scheduled to be put to sleep the day that PeeJee finds him at the shelter and adopts him. PeeJee's landlord won't let her have a pet, though, and Choo-Choo ends up with her best friend Davan, who reluctantly (at first) ends up being "Daddy."
